Established Leader

This award will recognize CIP Society members who have achieved sustained success through their demonstrated leadership qualities and the significant impact they have made on their organization, their community and the industry.

Personal Qualities:

A Society member who:

  • Has a passion for learning
  • Has demonstrable leadership skills
  • Is dedicated to his/her profession and committed to his/her employer
  • Is a role model, advisor, mentor demonstrating his/her ability to positively influence people
  • Has demonstrated the ability to cultivate new leaders within his/her organization and community
  • Makes a positive difference to his/her company, community and the industry
  • Is respected and admired by his/her peers; a person of high personal integrity

Professional Commitment and Accomplishment:

  • Has demonstrated leadership qualities in his/her personal and/or professional life, and who is recognized locally, regionally or nationally within the organization or the industry
  • Has made a significant and sustained impact on the success of his/her organization
  • Is recognized as a role model and mentor to people at all stages in their insurance career

Industry Contribution:

  • Gives back to the industry
  • Is active in the Institute(s) or other industry organizations
  • Is a leader in the industry
  • Makes an outstanding individual contribution to the insurance community

Community Engagement:

  • Gives back to the community where they live in a leadership capacity
