CIP Society Membership Fees

Membership in the CIP Society is for Institute graduates of the CIP and FCIP Programs. Graduates are elected into the membership categories of Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) and join the community of graduates, the CIP Society. The membership is extended to all newly elected CIP graduates free of charge to the next renewal period. As with other association-based designations, those not part of the CIP Society are not eligible to use their professional designation.

 Local Institutes

CIP Society members maintain their membership in their local Insurance Institute to remain a member in good standing

Member Fees

  • The membership year is June 1 to May 31.
  • The dues are $100 (taxes incl.), in addition to the local Institute fee.

Renewing your CIP Society Membership

Each spring, the Insurance Institute issues the membership renewal billing to companies who are paying for their employees’ memberships in the Insurance Institute and the CIP Society. In May, renewal notices are sent to individuals who are not under bulk billing and who typically pay for their membership independently.
